Unwrong is a digital error book built for medical students preparing for NEET-PG, INI-CET and FMGE. It helps you log MCQ mistakes, identify recurring errors, understand your weak areas, and revisit mistakes through spaced repetition.
It supports all 19 medical subjects, so you can organise your mistakes across your whole preparation. You need to be 18 or older to use it.
No. Unwrong runs directly in your browser, so you can get started without downloading anything. You can also add it to your phone’s Home Screen for easier access; the app shows you how.
On iPhone, you’ll sign in once more inside the Home Screen app.
A few seconds. Pick the subject and the type of mistake, enter the key learning point from the question you got wrong, and save. Unwrong organises it into a useful format for revision.
You can also use voice input instead of typing.
Yes. You can record your explanation instead of typing it, for up to three minutes.
Unwrong converts your speech into text, which you can edit before saving. Your recording is also kept with the entry.
It turns your note into a more useful revision entry: a one-line core fact and a recall cue. It can also correct clear errors in your note, and marks those for you to check.
Your original note is never changed, so you always keep what you wrote while the AI’s version supports your revision. You can correct the AI’s version at any time.
Yes. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, so verify important medical facts against trusted textbooks and other reliable sources.
Unwrong labels AI-generated content with the reminder “AI-written. Check your book.” You can also use the “This looks wrong” button to flag anything that seems incorrect.
Unwrong is a study aid, not a substitute for authoritative medical references or professional medical advice.
Unwrong uses spaced repetition, so you revisit mistakes at growing intervals instead of reviewing them once. Every mistake except silly ones becomes a revision card.
This keeps bringing back the concepts you haven’t recalled correctly.
Yes. You can set up each revision session by choosing:
You then work through the matching due cards instead of searching through old notes.
Every night, Unwrong compares your new mistakes with your earlier ones in the same subject, and groups the ones about the same underlying fact, even when they’re worded differently.
The results appear the next day, so you can see which concepts keep catching you out.
Basic insights, your totals and error pattern, are there from your first mistake.
The full error analysis unlocks once you’ve logged 15 mistakes, which gives Unwrong enough entries to spot real patterns in your preparation.
You can log mistakes offline. Every entry is saved on your phone first and uploads by itself when you’re back online.
Voice-to-text and the AI features need a connection, so offline entries are processed once you’re connected again.
Images are stored as reference material for your own use. They are never sent to the AI.
Add one when you want to refer back to the original question or visual. It appears on the mistake’s detail screen and on its revision card.
Your mistakes are private to your account and are not visible to other users.
Your notes and voice recordings are sent to OpenAI for the AI-powered processing. Images you upload are not.

Yes, both from Settings. Download my data gives you everything as a file, plus a spreadsheet of your entries. Delete my account permanently removes your account and everything in it, including your images and voice notes.
A few fair-use limits per person: 40 new entries a day, 20 minutes of voice-to-text a day, 10 AI corrections per entry, and 200 MB of images and voice notes. Anything over the daily limit waits safely on your phone and uploads the next day.
